Rabbi's Message

We at Chabad of River North and Fulton Market join you in hope and prayer as together we approach the new Jewish year of 5781.

After much brainstorming and community feedback, we are proud to present a High Holiday experience, with options* that hopefully meet each person's needs and sensitivities.

Our goal is to provide each and every member of our neighborhood the tools they need for a meaningful holiday experience. 

Looking forward to bringing in this New Year of sweetness, blessings, and health with you all!

Please note  

The safety of all participants is our primary concern. 

All in person programs & services will be held OUTDOORS, (weather permitting*) masks required,social distancing in place and participants will need to fill out a COVID consent form prior to attending.

          Pre-registration is a must for all service and programs to ensure attendance maximums follow CDC guidelines and will be on a first come first served basis.

Location will be sent upon RSVP 

*CDC guideline indoor backup in place for the services

Pre-Rosh Hashanah

Sunday September 13: 

Babyccino meet up: 10:00AM 

Rosh Hashanah Day 1 // September 19

Complete prayer service: 9:00AM 

Rosh Hashanah Day 2 // September 20  

Complete prayer service: 9:00AM

Family holiday experience: (including Shofar) 4:00PM

Shofar & Tashlich #1:  5:00PM


Yom Kippur Night // September 27

Kol Nidrei:(Evening Services) 6:30PM


Yom Kippur Day // September 28

Complete prayer service: 9:00AM

Yizkor memorial service: 10:30AM

Evening Services: 5:00PM

Fast ends: 7:18PM


Adult Experiences

One: Complete Prayer Service 

The full traditional service conducted in English and Hebrew, with a sprinkling of songs and inspiration.

Time: three hours  

*Two: Shofar & Tashlich

A powerful half hour service outdoors featuring meaningful prayers, traditional songs, and most importantly the Mitzvah of listening to the Shofar!  

Three:  If the need arises we will schedule an Adult Holiday Experience Including prayer excerpts, favorite melodies, a micro-sermon. ( Yizkor on Yom Kippur).

 *Second day of Rosh Hashna only,


Children Experiences

Come give your little ones a taste of the sweet New Year and meet other moms, dads, and kids in the neighborhood!

One: Sunday, September 13th 10:00AM for a Pre Rosh Hashana Babyccino experience  as we explore the holiday through creative music 'n movement, pint size crafts, and challah baking!

Two: Sunday, September 20th 4:00PM for a Rosh Hashana  hands on holiday experience including shofar blowing and tashlich. 



Holiday DIY Kit

Are you or a loved one celebrating at home?  Our beautifully designed holiday kits are for you! Kits include Rosh Hashana delights and a ‘do it yourself’ booklet, with prayers and meaningful insights  

Kids kit with activities, material and stories to engage children in the beauty and spirit of the High Holidays.

Yizkor kit with candle and accompanying card with commentary and instructions.
